Tony has two razor thin margins of victory to get him to 3–2 here.
He’s had a tough year with Cam Newton missing two games and his best player having a really early bye week, but all the big guns are back so things may be trending upwards for the forever engaged one.
If you’d have told me that Cam Newton would only have 81 fantasy points scored after five weeks, I’d have definitely believed you because 81/5=16 and 16 points per game is about what I would’ve given that stupid ass, but it looks like Newton will be grabbing some bench for Gardner Minshew this week anyways so why am I even talking about it.
After Aaron Jones there aren’t many plates left to put on the bar. Jonathan Taylor has been struggling for production, averaging just 14 carries and less than 2 targets a game over the last three weeks, and wide receiver production has been super spotty as well here with Godwin’s injury issues.

The return of Chris Godwin and having Aaron Jones back off bye helps, but this is a very tough to project team — not a lot of great floor players.
I can’t see the match-ups because I’ve been yawning so much looking at this team that my eyes are all watered up so I’ll just say that Tony scores an average number of points this week at 130.
Colin’s Side
Two average scores, one good score, and two big time stinkers has Colin at 1–4.
It’s tough to win in this league without getting QB points (although don’t tell Hahn that), and Colin has struggled there:
Of course I feel no sympathy for him. His QB strategy was straight outta 2008 going Ben Roethlisberger and Tom Brady and then forcing himself to choose one every week. That’s like having two 1960 Mustangs in the garage — like your grandpa will be like “oh dang you have some nice cars” — but you’re still break down every other day no matter which one you choose.

You can see there that his bench QB has outscored his starter in four of the fives weeks we’ve played. Better check the oil.
Colin is 1–4 and desperate for a win this week, naturally he goes out and trades his best player for an injured wide receiver on a team with a COVID outbreak…
Keenan Allen and Michael Thomas are both on bye, and he has this Robert Tonyan guy scoring four touchdowns in three games this year, so I suppose that’s where his thought process was.. but I mean..
I’ve dedicated hundreds too many words to this match-up already, it’s time to get to Jon vs. Paul.
